Finally, my new camera arrived today! So, here are some pictures for you to get a small impression of Leeds:

I did not think that finding a room in Leeds is that easy. In Germany I was used to visit several flats until you find one you can move in. Not in Leeds! I visited 3 rooms and could have moved in everyone immediately.

Now I’m living in a house vegetarians, which is great, because I am also one (for those of you who didn’t know). The lady who owns the house, Makaila, also lives here and doesn’t want the people to cook meat, because she lives vegan. So she only accepts vegetarians! This is like paradise to me The lady comes from Barbados and is a calypso singer. She often sings when she moves around in the house and spreads the good vibes.

I also visited the campus of my university, the leeds metropolitan university. It is really a nice one, with a lot of trees, old houses and much space. Pictures will follow!
